Welcome to GritWalk Ltd. – where exercise, culture and nature become one. Join me for an authentic Swiss walking or hiking experience as a local guide who knows the hidden gems of the Alps. I`m specialized in private off the beaten path tours in Interlaken, designed for those seeking a mindful walking experience away from the crowds. To make your journey even more unforgettable, we can top off our guided hike around Interlaken or the Jungfrau region with a traditional outdoor raclette amidst stunning mountain views.
As an experiential educator in training, I work as a German and English teacher at the You Count Foundation in Spiez, a special elementary school based on experiential education. There, I accompany children and young people with special needs – through learning in motion, experience and nature.
Before that, I worked for many years in marketing and product management at Interlaken Tourism and the Schilthorn Cableway.
As a local, I know and love the region. In my free time, I enjoy walking, biking and skiing – always on the lookout for quiet paths, unspoiled moments and places that I like to share with my guests.
I’d love to hear from you and help plan your next adventure.
I grew up in Thun and have been living in Interlaken for over 20 years. Since childhood, I’ve spent every spare moment in the mountains.
As a child, I skied competitively and later completed my ski instructor training.
I work at a Swiss school as a special education teacher and am currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in experiential education.
In Switzerland, everyone is trained and obliged to help in emergencies – safety and care are part of our culture.
